Who is Rixie Dennison?
Rixie Dennison is the owner and creator of Mandala Healing Arts, a thriving wellness practice based in Northern Virginia.
At 45 she left the Washington, DC based consulting firm after spending two years with a life coach and realizing her Soul wanted her to experience her True Self and gifts in a much deeper way.
She opened her holistic practice in October 2000 as a certified Yoga teacher from Sun and Moon Yoga Studio and as a graduate of Coach University as a Personal Life Coach and never looked back.

Rixie’s healing journey began 30 years ago when she surrendered to the dis-ease of alcoholism. Guided by the 12 Steps of recovery, lots of therapy for emotional healing, but most of all the willingness to live a life of well being and create the same for others.
She has created and led over 45 weekend yoga retreats at Sevenoaks Retreat Center in Madison, Virginia and a week-long Women’s Spiritual Retreat in Tulum, Mexico in February the last 17 years.
She loves being in the seat of the teacher at the Sun and Moon Yoga Studio – 22 years – and is one of their senior teachers and on their faculty for their highly regarded 200 and 500 hour teacher training program.
With a vibrant practice in Northern Virginia
She became a Certified Reflexologist in 2003 and has a vibrant practice wanting to add another dimension of healing to her holistic practice. In 2012 she developed her own curriculum for a Reflexology Certification course and has certified 21 Reflexologists.
Individuals and Group Coaching

Her Private Coaching practice has included both individuals and groups as well as Recovery Coaching for those wanting to enhance their recovery from codependency and any addiction spanning over 25 years.
This year she has launched two new online programs combining all her strengths as a leader, creator of community, teacher of yoga and meditation, well being expert – lifting women up to stand on their own two feet by guiding them gently and kindly deep within to find what is motivating them to tolerate inappropriate behavior, having no clear boundaries, the need the control everyone, enable or rescue.
Rixie is an avid learner, lover of two female orange kitties, Dharma and Shanti, a bonafide introvert, deep listener, manifester, loves sunflowers - a full moon over the ocean, The Eagles, Fleetwood Mac, Snatum Kaur, Deva and Miten. Most of all she loves the awakening of the Spirit.
